Livery

Grove Farm Equestrian offers full livery with horses cared for by experienced and knowledgeable staff. All livery clients have access to staff for support and advice when needed.

The yard operates a comprehensive worming programme with wormers charged at cost.

All livery clients can enjoy free use of the outdoor and indoor arenas, off-road hacking, use of wash down and tie up areas, kitchen and toilet in the main yard. They can also enjoy free use of the show jump paddock and grass dressage arenas in the summer.

Livery clients are welcome to invite external trainers and the schools can be booked for individual use.

The Stables

The American Barn at Grove Farm Equestrian offers three types of stable for livery clients, one of which is sure to suit your horse’s personality. Inside two rows of interior stables with wooden lower partitions and upper grills allow horses to have contact with each other or for horses who prefer to be alone there are a selection of stables with privacy partitions, whilst the exterior stables overlook the menage ensuring there is always plenty for your horse to see.

All the stables are light and airy with roof lights, rubber matting and automatic drinkers.

The Turnout

Horses can be turned out individually, in pairs or small herds as required. Each paddock is enclosed using a combination of permanent wooden posts with electric tape with an individual entrance directly onto the walkway making it safe and easy to turn out and bring in your horse. Each paddock includes an automatic water trough and is regularly harrowed.

At Grove Farm Equestrian, we believe horses should be kept as naturally as possible and all horses have access to a paddock whatever the season.

Full Livery

Full livery includes:

• Modern, top quality, well ventilated stable with rubber matting and automatic drinker
• Individual, pairs or small herd turnout
• Mucking out and provision of bedding (wood pellets)
• Turn out, bring in, feet picked out, legs washed off, rug changes
• Night checks
• Feed, hay or haylage
• Feeding of feed supplements provided by livery client
• Medicine administration when required
• Secure tack room
• Feed room
• Free use of outdoor floodlit school, indoor school, trailer and lorry parking

The staff at Grove Farm Equestrian are also able to offer other paid services to livery clients such as exercising, lunging, clipping, plaiting, show preparation, etc.
